Combat Control Officer Wanted for Execution Unit Mitt (GE Mitt)

Execution Unit Mitt (GE Mitt) is seeking a Combat Control Officer to be placed at the GE Mitt Staff in Enköping. GE Mitt operates to ensure the Armed Forces' ability to communicate and lead, around the clock, year-round. The unit's departments are spread across 6 locations within Military Region Mitt (MR M) and consist largely of technical personnel in the areas of IT, telecommunications, and infrastructure.

The GE Mitt staff is divided into functions with various specialist areas and supports the unit manager in leading the unit's departments and production.

Main Responsibilities

• Represent, lead, and develop functions and operations within the command area
• Lead and coordinate the ongoing execution tasks of the staff and unit
• Ensure quality, follow up, and report on assignments and emerging tasks within the unit's area of responsibility
• Other staff-related work as required
• Prepared to take over the duties of the Chief of Staff

REQUIREMENTS

• OF 2-3 or SO 6-7
• Experience in execution leadership and control at the battalion level
• Driver's license (B)

MERIT

• Experience from the Armed Forces and FMTIS operations at the tactical/operational level
• Technical background in one of the specified areas (IT, telecommunications, and infrastructure)

Start Date

As agreed. Permanent employment and a 6-month probationary period apply for those not employed within the Armed Forces.

Other Information

Work location: Enköping, travel may occur to other locations in the country and possibly international service.
